On the way to the beach the sky looked gorgeous so I had high expectations. Unfortunately when i got to Kill Devil Hills there were zero clouds to be found which I love to see in my sunsets and rises. Still learning but I will get there one day!

July 20 2019 was an absolutely magical morning. I could not have asked for a more perfect sunrise. I did forget to bring a spare battery so I missed the best part of the sunrise but what I have I think are special.

Sunrise June 30 2019
Sunrise on June 30 was absolutely magical, I almost got some good shots of an osprey catching a large fish within 20 yards of me. The key word there is “almost” I got a couple shots in but I wasn’t set up for fast action in low light, next time perhaps!
