I’ve been away too long and thought I would get back to posting some of my favorite shots from around the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

This is the old Coast Guard station Oregon Inlet shortly after the Milky Way rose above the horizon.
It is amazing how fast the stars seem to move around the night sky, spend a night under dark skies and be mesmerized!
This was a bitterly cold night given the 35 degree air temperature and the 25 knot winds that cut right through you coming right off the ocean.

Another great night of star gazing, hopefully I will get back to posting here more often!

  1. Hi. I was looking for your Dune picture on your site. The picture where you mirrored the dunes.
